Styling

Personal styling is where Kelly is able to draw on her considerable presence in the fashion industry to provide for her clients an easy and seamless flow of the fashion styling process. Bringing the convenience of a skilled Stylist together with a contact book boasting the biggest national and international names. Kelly is able to provide a service that no other in Australia can match.

Initial consultation and wardrobe cull

Nothing can substitute for the initial consultation when it comes to assessing the fashion personality of a prospective client. As Kelly says, “a person’s wardrobe says a lot about them, and even if it isn’t so flattering, it gives me a terrific insight into where they see themselves fashion wise and in terms of what effects they have driven for in the past.’’ As soon as I sit down with someone and cast an eye over their wardrobe I am already envisioning great new looks through their eyes.

The process

The fun part, this is where Kelly and her team really come into their own and from the client’s point of view all the hard work is done, all to do now is sit back and get excited with an endless procession of beautiful outfits to try on.

At this stage Kelly will produce a personalised style reference book which will contain; looks to aspire to (and avoid!), brands to focus on, a wish list of new purchases (tailored to budget), and of course colours/styles/fabrics for each client to focus on.

Also during this stage will occur the ‘sourcing’. More specifically Kelly will go through her extensive list of local and international contacts to procure any pieces required for the client. This process is made much more streamlined thanks to Kelly’s reputation and long standing relationships in the fashion industry. After 1-2 days sourcing the client will then have the fitting in Kelly’s Darling Point studio.

During the fitting process photographs will be taken of each look and provided to the client in ‘look-book’ form for easy daily reference.

Corporate

After 5 very successful years styling the on air talent at Channel 7, Kelly has developed an innate sense of corporate style. Kelly’s contacts in tailoring and men’s and women’s high end fashion make her a perfect avenue for Executives to access their perfect styles without losing any valuable time wandering stores. Executives in Finance and Advertising, doctors of all fields, real estate gurus, and CEO’s of major corporations can all lay claim to using Kelly’s services.

Special events

Singular event styling is a more condensed version of Kelly’s service and often the choice of her Celebrity clients. Due to Kelly’s years of experience in the high demand and result driven world of fashion she has developed skills that easily enable her to take on a job at short notice, quickly establish the needs to the client, and deliver with brands and looks that the client would not have had access too without her extensive contact list at their disposal. In the past Kelly and her team have pulled together looks for Engagements (not always the bride to be!) weddings, and business cocktail evenings.
